Fuxam uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the provider of the data centre on which the data for the learning platform is stored. Specifically, Fuxam has ensured via the respective settings that the data is stored within the EU, specifically the data centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and as a backup the data centre in Dublin, Ireland.

2. GetStream

Fuxam uses GetStream as a provider of a transmission system for the chat function, the digital contrast board, live activity reports (also ‘activity feed’) and streaming of the courses (i.e. video and sound).

3. Open AI

Fuxam uses Open AI to help users with tasks, course symbols and contributions, among other things.

4. PlanetScale

Fuxam uses PlanetScale to store data in databases and process it more efficiently.

5. Cloudflare

Fuxam uses Cloudflare as a development and hosting platform for FuxamOS file storage space. This is used to store the files uploaded by the institution itself (e.g. documents in the courses). Fuxam has set up this service so that the data is stored in data centres within the EU.

6. Stripe

Fuxam GmbH uses Stripe as a PCI compliant payment processor, which collects payment information on our behalf to process transactions. Whilst our administrators can view and track the actual transactions via customer portals, we do not have access to your credit card information and cannot process it.

7. Clerk

Fuxam GmbH uses Clerk as an authentication service provider to ensure the log-in and registration process. Clerk also handles session management and internal user management for Fuxam.

8. Resend

Resend is an email marketing tool. The cloud-based software sends transactional and marketing emails and takes care of the email infrastructure. Fuxam uses Resend to send automated emails, e.g. to reset a forgotten password or to send registration data.
